Optional extra support for UK seafarers
We’re pleased to introduce Seadays+, an optional low-cost subscription for UK seafarers who want a bit more support when tracking time abroad and preparing a Seafarers’ Earnings Deduction (SED) claim.
Seadays has always been about keeping things clear, accurate, and reducing admin when you’re working away from home. Seadays+ builds on that by adding more automation, storage, and forward-looking insight — while keeping the core experience simple.
What’s included with Seadays+
Seadays+ gives you everything you need to stay organised and audit-ready in one place:
- Unlimited trip tracking, with live SED eligibility status
- Secure storage for all your evidence, including discharge book pages, flight tickets, and other HMRC-relevant documents
- Full HS205 working sheet generator, ready to export
- Ongoing eligibility tracking and forecasting, so you can see where you stand and spot potential issues early
If you’re between trips or contracts, Seadays+ can help you get your records in order now — rather than scrambling later when it’s time to file.
What hasn’t changed
The goal of Seadays remains the same:
- Clear records
- Accurate day counting
- Less admin
- More confidence when claiming SED
Seadays+ is completely optional. You can continue using Seadays without it, and upgrade only if and when it makes sense for you.
