The Seadays mission is to simplify tracking time abroad so every eligible UK Seafarer can confidently claim the Seafarers' Earnings Deduction they're owed.
We're not tax advisors – just a tool built by a fellow maritime professional to help every seafarer keep the right records, stay compliant, and secure the relief they deserve.
Seadays contributes 1% of Seadays+ subscriptions to removing CO₂ from the atmosphere through Stripe Climate.
Founder Story
Seadays began with a simple need: keep clear, easily accessible and reliable records of time outside the UK and understand SED eligibility at a glance.
As a working UK seafarer, I was fed up of losing track of my days abroad and the uncertainty of my SED eligibility. I wanted a better way to keep on top of my claim without spreadsheets or guesswork - so I built the tool I wished I had, and I'm sharing it with the community. Hope you find it useful!
